Welcome to the SC EdTech conference site. SC EdTech offers content and activities that span all areas of educational technology with diverse workshops, presentations, speakers, exhibitors, and recognition events. The conference is managed by the South Carolina Association for Educational Technology (SCAET), a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The 2009 conference theme, "Beyond the limits", took participants to different heights in educational technology professional development. With over 90 concurrent workshops and presentations and over 160 exhibit booths, there was a lot to take in and do. You can browse through the archived list of sessions and other related information on the 2009 conference through the archives link on this page.

This year's conference theme, "Discover the Mystery", was chosen to be the tag to inspire participants of the 2010 S.C. EdTech in discovering the many ways technology can improve and enhance education.

Keep up with the latest 2010 conference news under "Latest News" and through the links above. Be sure to check out information from presenters and exhibitors by joining the free conference Discussion Forum later in 2010.

You can look forward to the opening of the annual Call for Proposals to Present in January, nominations being accepted for the Technology Innovative Programs Awards (TIP) and the ISTE/SCAET Making IT Happen Award later in 2010.

Mark your calendars and set your plans for October 27-29, 2010, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel.
